A group of five students and a teacher visited Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland on an educational tour organized by EF Tour Group. The tour was well organized. The group left on 6th July and reached Zurich. Here they were joined by Ms. Veera Gomes, the tour Director. The stay in Hotel Emmenton at Lucerne region was memorable. The view from Mt. Pilatus (the top of Europe) was breathtaking. After a visit to Glass Palace and few churches the group left for Venice. The Gondola ride on the waterways from which a glimpse of impressive buildings in Venice was ‘once in a lifetime’ moment. Students were agog with curiosity when they visited the famous crystal glass industry. They enjoyed a few hours of shopping. On twelfth the group reached Munich in Germany. The visit to the Reconciliation Camp of Hitler was an eye opener. The students especially enjoyed the awesome cars in the BMW museum and visited a few monuments. The group departed from Munich on the fifteenth.

The tour taught the students a lot about the procedures required in international flights. They learnt a lot about Europeans who are very hardworking and fanatic about cleanliness. The tour also gave them an insight into the culture, history and heritage of various countries in Europe.
